Liaquat is a Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon with over two decades of experience across the NHS and private practice.
He is an established academic and was awarded a PhD in Plastic Surgery from Imperial College London, followed by appointment as an NIHR Clinical Academic Lecturer in Plastic Surgery. His research and scientific publications form the basis of ongoing clinical trials in fibrosis and tissue regeneration at the University of Oxford.
In addition to his clinical and academic work, Liaquat holds a degree in Psychology and an MBA from London Business School. He serves as a Trustee of The Scar Free Foundation and is a member of the BFIRST committee, reflecting his commitment to advancing medical science, and the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care across global healthcare systems.
