Ahmad Eman
Ahmed Emam, is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon based in South Wales. His main clinical interests are in major trauma, limb reconstruction, and microsurgery, where he focuses on delivering complex reconstructive solutions that restore both form and function. As part of the South Wales Major Trauma Network, Ahmed leads the plastic surgery contribution to trauma care, ensuring patients receive timely and effective reconstructive options.
Beyond work in the UK, Ahmed is deeply committed to humanitarian surgery. He has been privileged to take part in charity missions across Ukraine, Ethiopia, Uganda, Gaza, and Lahore, providing reconstructive care in resource-limited environments. These experiences have broadened his perspective, reinforcing his dedication to teaching and collaboration, and allowed him to contribute to improving surgical services worldwide.
Ahmed remains passionate about combining clinical practice, education, and outreach to advance trauma and reconstructive care.
Ahmed is Chairman of the BFIRST Education, Research and Fellowship Sub-committee.
